Viewing the site

EmbellishYourHome.com has been designed for monitors set to a resolution of 800 x 600 with either high color (16 bit), true color (24 bit), or thousands (or more) of colors. Visitors with monitors set to a higher resolution will have no problems viewing the site. Visitors with lower resolutions may have to scroll horizontally as well as vertically to see an entire page.

Visitors whose monitors are set to less than 16 bit or 256 colors will notice the dithering of images. Dithering represents your monitor's way of rending colors which it does not recognize, thus reducing the quality of an image's appearance. In order to enjoy the true beauty and color of Embellishments' products your monitor must be set to high color (16 bit), true color (24 bit), or thousands (or more) of colors.

EmbellishYourHome.com has been developed using standard HTML 4.0, CSS 2, JavaScript, and PHP 4.2.1 integrated with a MySQL database. It should be viewable to it's fullest extend using a current 4.0 version web browser. We recommend Netscape Navigator 4.0 (or higher) and Internet Explorer 4.0 (or higher).

Website security

Our site uses an encryption mechanism called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) which allows you to send information to our secure computer with safety and confidence. Your browser encrypts, or scrambles, all of the data being sent to our server. Using a special key that can run only on EmbellishYourHome.com's server, we can unlock your encrypted information. If anyone intercepts this encrypted data all they will receive is scrambled, meaningless bits of data.

As soon as you begin the checkout process you enter the secure portion of our server. This ensures that all of your personal data remains safe as it is transferred across the internet.
